Online camp registration will open on April 21, 2025, at 3:00 pm for 100% NCATA chapters that have submitted and paid their FFA dues by March 3, 2025. FFA Camp registration will close at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, and all entries will be randomly assigned a number. Starting with number 1, chapter requests will be placed in their preferred FFA Camp week until all chapters have been placed and/or the remaining camping weeks are full. Chapters will be notified of their placement and must submit their student deposits within 5 business days to confirm their reservations. Chapters will have 5 business days to turn in their deposit ($100/student) to confirm their spots. After this 5-day period, the remaining spots will be available for non-100% NCATA chapters and all remaining FFA chapters on May 1, 2025. These chapters will have 5 business days to turn in their deposits, or they will go to the waitlisted chapters.

Week 4: July 7-11

Week 5: July 14-18

Week 6: July 21- 25

Week 7: August 4-8 (130 Participant Minimum)

SLC: July 28-August 1

State Leadership Conference (SLC) 

State Leadership Conference registration will open for all chapters on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 3:00 pm.

On Friday, May 16, 2025, at 3:00 pm, the registration will close. Starting with number 1, chapter requests will be placed until all chapters have been placed and/or the SLC session is full. Chapters will be notified of their placement and must submit their student deposits within 5 business days to confirm their reservations.

Interested in working for the NC FFA Center?

This paid summer position is great for college students with a love for the outdoors, fellowship, and the FFA.  

Camp program staff members will:

  • Officiate and coordinate athletic events and programs such as softball, basketball, waterball, and volleyball
  • Lead morning exercises, leadership activities, and other student activities 
  • Develop and present a reverent reflection program with other staff members
  • Facilitate a weekly talent show and dance
  • Follow regulations of the NC FFA Center
  • Work in the camp store by restocking, running the cash register, and conducting inventory
  • Assist in registration and check-in
  • Provide assistance to the camp staff director
  • Maintain the grounds of the NC FFA Center by mowing, weed eating, conducting building and equipment repairs

Benefits: Weekly pay of $600, air-conditioned lodging, three meals per day, opportunity for additional pay for weekend duty  

Duration: The NC FFA Center is in operation from May to October. In that time, we host 7-8 weeks of our traditional camping program (June 2 - August 14, 2025). There is a required camp staff training  May 16-18, 2025, at the NC FFA Center.  Camp staff will also be required to work May 26-30, 2025, in order to clean the camp and prepare it for the camping season.  Camp staff will be paid to attend both the training weekend and the camp cleanup week.

Additionally, staff members are needed to work with weekend rental groups during these months. Please note that you will be expected to work some weekends during these months. Separate compensation will be provided for weekend rental groups. Lodging is provided, however, meals are not.

Criteria: Camp staff members should be:

  • College students
  • Lifeguard Certified - NC FFA will reimburse hired staff up to $275 to obtain their lifeguard certification.
  • First Aid/AED/CPR Certified - Find certification classes here
  • Able to pass a complete criminal and social media background check

Up-to-date certifications are needed by the time of employment on May 16, 2025.

Ideal candidates will be able to work efficiently on a team, adhere to a tight schedule while also being adaptable for changes due to inclement weather, and interact positively with high school-aged FFA members/campers, teachers/advisors, and guests. Public speaking skills will benefit camp staff members when leading reflections and facilitating activities, sporting events, talent shows, and dances. Ideal candidates must be able to uphold the values of North Carolina FFA Association. Alcohol, drugs, or weapons are not permitted at the NC FFA Center. Previous FFA experience is preferred but not required.
