Alanna Greene

State FFA Vice President

Alanna Greene

Alanna began her FFA journey in 2019 with a goal in mind that she would never join the organization. She wanted to be unique in herself due to her family being active in FFA. Alanna does not come from an agricultural background; however, she quickly found that FFA has many opportunities. It is an organization that highlights individuals unique quality traits with the ability to encourage individuals to be their best selves each day to make an impact on society in the future. Alanna has held several officer positions from the chapter level to leading the West Region with a strong desire to serve others. Alanna attends Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College and will graduate with a degree in Medical Sonography. She looks forward to serving the state of North Carolina to promote diversity and to be an advocate for agriculture outside of the industry.

Walter Moore

State FFA Vice President

Walter Moore

Walt joined the North Pitt FFA chapter as a freshman through his animal science class, having no idea of the limitless experiences and friendships that awaited him. He was originally hooked on the opportunities for premier leadership and personal growth, and ran for chapter president as a sophomore. Since then, Walt has looked for opportunities to grow himself and leave a positive impact on surrounding members in North Pitt, Pitt County, and beyond, serving as president of the Northeast Region during his senior year. He has remained involved in agriculture through the Veterinary Science and Prepared Public Speaking Career Development Events, as well as maintaining an active Supervised Agricultural Experience volunteering with ECU Health Medical Center. Through FFA, Walt has learned how to serve North Carolina and leave a legacy, celebrating the experiences of those who have come before, and preparing the next generation of agriculturists for the road that lies ahead. He is excited to embark on a journey of growth, service, and building new connections with the diverse membership across the Old North State. Walt will earn a degree in Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill, which he plans to use advocating for the safety and health of farmers living and working in rural communities just like his hometown.

Lindsey Hockstra

State FFA Vice President

Lindsey Hockstra

When Lindsey began taking agriculture classes at Millbrook High School she had no idea the impact it would have on her. She fell in love with her first agriculture class during her freshman year and fell even harder for FFA. Lindsey blossomed through the rest of her high school career as she advanced through horticulture, sustainable and mechanics classes, and began to get more involved in her school's FFA chapter. She began to participate in CDEs and LDEs such as Ag Sales, Ag communications, Marketing Plan, Ag Issues, Mechanics, and many more. Lindsey continued to stay involved in agriculture through her SAE project in Agricultural Mechanics Repair and Maintenance while working at GreenView Partners. She was a State Star finalist in Agricultural Placement and a finalist for the Agriculture Mechanics Repair and Maintenance Placement proficiency award. Lindsey grew as an individual and as a leader through the events she participated in, the teams she served on, the CDEs she competed in, and the connections that she developed through all of her experiences. She has inspired individuals to become the best person they can be, and she looks forward to continuing to do this throughout the state, and help grow each and every member of our association.

Regans SAE consists of raising supertoms for ButterBall on the commercial scale, as well as raising and caring for goats and cattle. She will be attending North Carolina State University for her sophomore year and will be studying agricultural science. She is excited to serve the state of North Carolina as a state officer and to have the opportunity to pour into others like they have poured into her.

Carson Park

State FFA Vice President

Carson Park

Carson has always been curious about things that grow and the environment. Entering high school, she was eager for agriculture courses and FFA because of her family’s involvement in agriculture and love for FFA. Carson enrolled in horticulture and immediately grew an appreciation for plants, pollinators, and leadership. Carson completed an advanced studies research project where she explored how to support declining native bee populations through diversified horticultural practices in North Carolina. With a newly formed FFA chapter, Carson served as chapter president for two years. She led her chapter to its first chapter banquet, jacket ceremony, CDE win, and many other firsts. Carson has served in numerous leadership positions at all levels in the NC FFA Association. Carson sees FFA as a place where all students belong and can grow to develop their potential. As a state officer, she hopes to inspire members to reach their highest heights. Carson will earn a degree in Horticultural Science from North Carolina State University and looks forward to advancing the skills that she learned as a high school agriculture student and FFA member to contribute to the future of agriculture.
