The camping program consists largely of wholesome recreational activities. The sports program, which is competitive on a chapter basis, includes swimming and water sports, basketball, softball, volleyball, water ball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and much more.
Learn MoreThe NC FFA Center at White Lake is open for public rentals April through October when the camping program is not in session. A variety of meeting spaces and lodging accommodations are available for church groups, family reunions, chapter officer retreats, etc.
Learn MoreThe camp opened on June 4, 1928 and hosted 896 young men its first summer. Since this time, the center has operated as the Young Tar Heel Farmer Camp, the RJ Peeler FFA Camp, and is now known as the North Carolina FFA Center.
